Big Saver ("the app," "we," "us") is developed and operated by Krishna Patel, an individual developer. Big Saver does not require an account, does not have a login, and does not sync your data to any server we control.
1. Information You Enter Into the App
When you use Big Saver, you can enter information such as:
- Expense amounts, notes, dates, and categories
- Custom category names and colors
- Your monthly budget amount
- Your selected currency and app theme (light/dark)
2. Advertising (Google AdMob)
Big Saver shows ads through Google AdMob to support free use of the app. To serve and measure ads, Google's AdMob SDK may automatically collect and process:
- Your advertising ID (a resettable, non-permanent device identifier)
- Approximate location (typically derived from IP address)
- Device information (e.g., device type, operating system version)
- Ad interaction data (e.g., impressions, clicks)
This information is collected and processed by Google, not by us, and is used to select and measure the ads shown in the app. It is separate from — and never combined with — the expense/budget data described in Section 1, which never leaves your device.
You can control ad personalization and reset or delete your advertising ID at any time in your device settings (Settings → Privacy → Ads on most Android versions). 3. Permissions the App Uses
Big Saver requests only the following device permissions:
- Internet access — required to request and display ads
- Network state — used to check network connectivity before requesting ads
The app does not request access to your location, contacts, camera, microphone, storage, or any other sensitive device permission, and does not need any of them to function.
4. Data We Do Not Collect
We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, precise location, contacts, photos, or any financial account information (Big Saver is a manual expense log — it does not connect to bank accounts or payment cards). There is no account creation, no login, and no cloud backup or sync of your data to us.
5. Children's Privacy
Big Saver is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us using the details below.
6. Data Retention & Deletion
Because all app data (expenses, budget, categories) is stored only on your device, you are always in control of it:
- To delete individual expenses or categories, use the delete options within the app.
- To delete all app data at once, clear the app's storage/data via your device's Settings, or uninstall the app.
We have no server-side copy of this data to delete, because we never received it.
7. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time, for example to reflect changes in the app's features or in applicable law. Changes will be posted here with an updated effective date. Continued use of the app after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
